Laura's Recent Design Credits include: 5 Songs: an exhibit by artist Martin Kersels (Whitney Biennial 2010), AH! Opera No-Opera: an interactive, Multi-media performance (REDCAT LA), Rememberer: All the Threads (Experimental Art, Music, Performance @ Judson Church NY), The Dig; an archeological exhibit (Governors Island NY), Show of Hands a Video Installation by artist Ed Purver (presented by InLight Richmond, Art In Odd Places and DUMBO Art Under the Bridge Festival), LaSanta (The Ontological Hysteric Theater with Sintroca NY), Coffee Will Make You Black (The Celebration Theater LA), Big Night in Tent (Urban Stages NY), Dirty Mean Tricks (Unknown Theater LA), The Miracle Worker (New School of Drama NY), Ovation Award Winning Abandon (La Mama Etc. NY).
Laura is currently the Associate Lighting Designer for The Builder's Association and Deborah Hay Dance Company. She has had the opportunity to work with many opera, theater, dance, and music groups from around the world including: Los Angeles Opera Company, The Actors Theatre of Louisville, New York Theatre Workshop, Trinity Repertory Theater Company, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Baryshnikov Arts Center, Walker Center of the Arts, the Wexner Performance Arts Center, DASS Dance, Company of Strangers, Big Dance Theater, Dumb Type, and Sintroca.
Laura is the Co-Artistic Director and Founding Member of Blank-the-Dog productions, and teaches at Long Island University.
